At age 4 old, he and his parents relocated to College Station, Texas, and at the time he was at the high school level, he had decided that he wanted to pursue acting. He enrolled in college for three months "Things didn't really work for me, and it wasn't working out for them, so we had a mutual dissolution." Then he moved to New York and studied at the Circle in the Square Theatre School. The actors came together for The Last Word, where they were screen lovers. The movie, written by Stuart Fink and directed by Mark Pellington, also starred Broadway legend Shirley MacLaine. Sadoski's ex-wife Hope had divorced him recently, and Seyfried had split from Long in September.
