Anne Frances Murphy aka Annie Murphy was born on the 19th of December, 1986. Her home country is Canada. She has done numerous films in Hollywood. The main character she played was of Alexis Rose from the CBC sitcom Schitt's Mill, the show that premiered in 2014 and ended in 2020. In her performance, she received critical acclaim and won the Primetime Emmy Award. She was born to Ottawa Ontario Canada. She is the daughter of two teachers. Elmwood School was her first option in Ottawa which was where she performed in various stage performances. She then enrolled at Concordia University from where she obtained a degree in theater performance. After that, she took lessons in the Canadian Film Centre Actor's Conservatory and was able to learn about the art of acting. Later she moved into Los Angeles at the age of 22 where she pursued acting as a profession. Annie Murphy made her acting debut in 2007 when she appeared in the thriller television movie Lethal Obsession. After that, she continued acting in minor roles as well as acting in extra. Some of these films have been very well-received, such as Story of Jen released in the year 2008, Lick in the year 2010, as well as A Windigo Tale released the following year.
