Tina and Amanda
Tina Louise is a popular American author, performer and actress who is well-known for her role as Ginger Grant in the 1960s television series Gilligan's Island. Her stage work began in the 1950s, with Two's Company, a Bettle-Davis musical. In the 1950s she performed as a stage actor in several Broadway shows before gaining her way into the spotlight with her hit song 'Lil' Abner's debut in 1957. In the same year, she released Her first album of music It's Time to Tina. Her debut appearance into Hollywood was in the role of Griselda in God's Little Acre, a 1958 film. It received wide praise. Louise won the Golden Globe Award for the New Star of the year category. While in New York, Louise enrolled at Actors Studio and began her relationship and friendship with Lee Strasberg. The year 1964 saw her signing with CBS as a character, Ginger Grant. Louise was able to balance her work between Broadway television and Hollywood, portraying more somber roles as contrast to her image as a glamorous girl. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. The SG-1 series, as well as Helen Magnus on Sanctuary. In the last few years, she's also become the most sought-after director for popular TV series like Supernatural or The 100. Born in Essex on the 28th of August, 1965. The family moved to Toronto to spend her youth. Samantha Carter settled in Vancouver, Canada after her selection to play the lead.
